This will be a health fair and Candlelight Vigil that will be celebrating mental health month. The Tri-County MH/MR and Square One Clubhouse are co-hosting the event along with the Tri County Drop In Centers. There will be speakers, entertainment and candle lit recovery stories. Allenport Lions will have a spaghetti Dinner June 6th from 11 am til 2 pm. Along with the dinner there will also be desserts and a salad served. Meal is FREE...... NO TAKEOUTS!

There will be a clean-up dive conducted at Seven Points Marina on Saturday, May 15th. This event is designed to clean up the bottom of the lake around the Seven Points Marina. There is no entry fee and prizes will be awarded for different catagories. To ask for registration forms or request more information, contact R&C Scuba at 658-9902 or email at david@rcscuba.net. All proceeds benifit the Beacon Lodge Camp for the Blind. Sign up is from 11:30 til 1:30 at the Woodcock Valley Lions Club. $15 for a rider and $5 for passenger. The ride will end at the Beacon Camp with a spaghetti & meatball dinner. There will be door prizes and it is sponsored by District 14 Lions Club. The ride distance is about 91 miles with stops at various Lions Clubs.

A small squad tactical demonstration against German opposition is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. each day. Bivouac and tactical open to the public 10:00 a.m. till 4:00 p.m. Call ahead for itinerary. The Community Summer Band will begin rehearsals for its 20th Season and Old Fashioned Outdoor Band Concerts (rain or shine) on Monday, June 7th, 7 PM  at Huntingdon High School.  Rehearsals will continue at Huntingdon High School on Mondays through July 26. The band is open to adult instrumentalists and youth referred by their school music directors or private instructors. Questions should be directred to 643-6975.
